Where can I change the path to My Music Folder? I want
to put my pictures on a larger hard drive. Example C to

Install TweakUI, part of MS PowerToys:

Here you can change Special Folders

While tweakui isn't bad it does have a lot of stuff in it so if yo
want a simpler app try "Folder Redirector" at
http://windowsxp.mvps.org/folderredirector.htm. The only thing thi
does is redirect your folders

Do you mean change your path for My Pictures? You said 'where to put my
pictures'.

The only way is to modify the registry.

1. Click on Start Menu | Run and enter regedit
2. Find key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User
Shell Folders
3. In the right panel window you should see your My Pictures
4. I would rename My Pictures
5. Create a new String and name it My Pictures
6. Set the data to the new My Pictures to the path you want.

I have modified and moved My Documents and everything under to another
Partition ... this allows me to keep my Personal Data separate from the
Windows OS.

I have one time renamed all Entries to move everything to another drive. I
had no problems ... other than having to login as Administrator and changed
everything for my login by Loading the Hive for my user account.
