My IIS not responding to HTTP even not opnes http://localhost

After Installing Windows XP Service pack SP 2, I am not able to see the
default directory structure & the virtual directory that i created.

I found that the metabase of IIS 5.1 is corrupted.

I reinstalled IIS 5.1 from Win Xp CD. But it not solved.

Give me the steps that i have to follow to work on it.
 
Were you able to solve this problem? I am having the same issue. If you were
able to solve, I appreciate if you could share the solution with me.
