I have a web site at angelfire. When I try to go to the editor or even just
view the web page my ie stops responding.
I have dumped my cookies
I ahve dumped my temporary internet files
I ahve checked for spyware
I have used windows update and akll products are up to date
I even used system restore to go back to a time befoe I ahd the problem
Nothing works
NOTE:
I have another profile on this computer and when I use IE in that profile
everything works fine so its just with the main profile on this machine and I
need to use this profile to do my work with that site

How do I get rid of whatever it is that is stopping me from accessing these
web pages?

Hi,
[Assuming Windows XP]
Open a Command window from Start> Run> cmd
Type in
ipconfig /flushdns
Hit [Enter]
then clear the Temporary Internet Files and restart.

If that's not the fix, post back. We'll see what else we can come up with.
;-)

Hope this helps,

I did this an it worked fine about a week ago. I went to the same website
tonight adn it wont work . I tried dumping all my temporary files and
cookies like last time AND the ipconfig /flushdns but the pages still cause
ie to stop responding. I expect that my othwer profile will work but don't
know for sure. Help me someone!

the pages are from angelfire and I am trying to access their online editor
but my pages themselves lock up ie6 adn not just the web shell. They say its
a microsoft problem.

Thanks
