My hyperlinks keep breaking

I am in the middle of a project and was upgraded from XP to 2003. When I open
a page I created prior to the upgrade or I create a new page, all of my
hyperlinks break. Also, all of the links/pages created after the upgrade are
showing up as external links. I am constantly relinking the same hyperlinks.
(I have over 12,000 in the site so far and am no where near finished.) What
is going on and how can I fix it?
 
Are your pages within a web and are you opening the web to work on them?

Yes, and the strange thing is the links work fine when I preview it in a
browser. My company's IT has not given me access to the intranet server, so I
am unable to test it in another environment.
 
Are you opening the same web/site (same location on server or your pc) in same way (server based, or as a local disc based web)

If your links were valid before the upgrade FP 2003 does nothing to them if you are opening a Site in FP - not just a page
