My hotmail incoming messages are in the deleted items folder?

I access my hotmail account through Outlook 2003 and recently a lot of the
incoming mail shows up in the deleted items folder and keep going back there
even if moved to the inbox???

Are you using the MSN Outlook connector to access Hotmail or the standard
HTTP protocol? Do the messages already show in the Deleted Items folder when
you look at your inbox through Hotmail?

If it already shows up in the Deleted Items folder in Hotmail before Outlook
even has touched the e-mails it is not Outlook that needs troubleshooting
but Hotmail. Check your settings on-line or contact MSN support.
