"System Restore" is causing this, it creates snapshots of Windows from time
to time.. it can literally eat up your disk in no time, if you want to risk
going without Systemrestore, you can turn it off :
Right-click the "Computer" icon, select properties, inside the new window
where you can see what Vista Edition you have and else infos you go to
"advanced properties" on the left side of the screen, one of the tabs has an
entry for the feature and it lists all monitored disks, de-select them and
so you turned System restore off ( Windows will warn you about that ) .
