My freind needs old Apple Mac Somthing to do Art work on anyone got something cheap.

Hi guys,
My mate is hoping to get into art college and i need an old apple mac or pc or somthing to work on.
Im going there as ihave done my portfolio sucessfully.

It takes him 40 mins to get to my house and he is always busy helping his mum.
Im not rich if i had money i would help him out.

So i thought i would do him a favour and ask around for an old apple mac or pc.
Something to do his art work on.

So anyone who can help me out so i can help him out would be much help.

What sort of spec pc would he be after James as i have an old pentium 133 kicking about which i would give to a good cause and he sounds like a good cause so let me know and perhaps we could get something sorted out....

what sort of programs is he wanting to run ? photoshop CS or something similar ?

Well yes thats the plan.
He can use an older version i have got which im 'selling' to him for hardly anything.
He just needs somthing to run them on.
Photoshop and Quarkxpress is what he reallly needs to use

But please any suggestions or help would be great.
The software i can give is ok but its mainly for mac so a mac would be better.
But a pc would do him great ive got some software for him.
I bought him windows 98 and some other programs.
But most of the programs he needs are for mac only which i can give him.
So any help advice and ips would be great

Sorry i mean for mac only as in that ive only got the programs for mac.
Im not trying to say he just needs a mac.
