My flash movie in ppt defaults to playing=false

Yes, i have successfully embedded the swf file into my ppt prez. But
each time i open the prex i find that the playing value within
properties for this movie has ben reset to zero.

Why is this happening ? and how may i eliminate this problem. After
all my prez will fiinally have 7 such enbedded swf movie files....will
i have to reset the playing attribute on each and every one ,,,, not
looking forward to that....

BTW does embedding a file mean that i can erase the file and expect it
to have been swallowed by ppt and that it will play each time i come
to that slide...

Appreciate any help on this quickly

Thanks

Sanjit

How about if i set the 'o looping" value then i may not have this problem right??

The problem is that the movie starts from where it ended last time. If not
looped then the movie will play til the end then set Playing to False and
FrameNum to the last frame of the movie. If looped Playing will not be
reset but FrameNum will still remain at the last frame played until you play
the slide again (and this setting will be saved with the file).
If you want to avoid using an add in to control this you need to insert the
movie and save the file before playing it. Then either don't save it again
or reset Playing to True and FrameNum to 0 before saving.
