my dvd rom games are not loading up please help

my dvd rom is actin like there not even there and it use to work perfectly
now i cant play any of my favorite games like elderscrolls or even install
the new hitman please help me

Hi wolfer,

Since that problem just started happening recently, try a System Restore.

everybody is tellin me its probably a hardware prob not a windows prob

Hi wolfer,

Oh, then you'll just need to replace the DVD ROM drive.
You can try cleaning it first though with a CD/DVD drive cleaning kit.
You can also swap out the drive and test it on another system.
If all that fails, the DVD ROM drive is cheaper to replace then repair..

yeah thats what im plannin to do just blow some cash tommorrow get me a new
dvd drive and stuff
