My Doom A - Help!!

Can anyone help?

my doom a has infected my computer - I run AVG 6.0 anti
virus (free edition). when I leave my computer idle for
any length of time I get a message stating there is a
virus in file :
c:\system volume information\_restore{5C3BBAD4-B848-4E7E-
8C8E-220DAA81360A}\RP282\A00052>007.exe
However, when I run AVG it doesn't find this virus. Nor
can I find the system volume information file.

What can I do?

Michael;
System Volume Information is the System Restore data.
Turn off/on System Restore to delete corrupted files:
Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore.
Click System Restore Settings on left side.
Check "Turn off System Restore", click OK, follow prompts and reboot.
This deletes ALL Restore Points including corruption.
Then go back and turn on system Restore and create a Restore Point.
