My Documents Folder

Hi,

I just noticed that My Documents folder is now in 2 other places with the
same exact files. I'd never had seen that before and now when I do a backup
it's copying all 3 locations.

Does anybody have a clue on what I did or how to fix it? I can't just delete
the extra folder as it will delete all the files.

I think they are not duplicates just the shortcut to your original one.

The 3 locations you are talking about could be:

1. Start Menu and on your Desktop.
2. My Computer - like Raj's Documents
3. %HOMEPATH%\My Documents [Homepath means the drive where you have
installed Windows.

Create a new file and save it to My Documents and you will notice that the
same file will also be available in other locations too.
