My Documents changed to local C:\ and greyed out

There was an incident a few days ago that interupted the
uploading of a user profile ("Saving Settings...") which
has caused a users "My Documents" folder Target Location
to change from the Network "Home" dirctory UNC path
(\\Server\users\$username) to local "Documents and
Settings" directory on the C:\ Drive. This Taget
Location box is greyed out and I cannot change it back to
point at the network share.

What is up with this? How can I change it back to the
home path specified in the Active Directory.

Thanks

Jonathan

Copy the files to the correct location, rename their profile share on the
server - and log in & delete the locally cached profile on the workstation,
and have them log in again.

Kind of a 'blunt force' approach, but it should work.
