The Group Policy setting can be configured by going to the following
location:
User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Start Menu & Taskbar > "Do
not keep history of recently opened documents"
For local policy, go to Start > Run > gpedit.msc
If this setting is being defined in your Active Directory, then you will
need to go into AD Users and Computers to find the setting
