My display is too large for my monitor...

Hey guys...
Recently when I started my computer, everything all the sudden was
magnified... Even during startup, he only showes half of what I'm supposed to
see, then when I move my mouse to the edge of my screen, it slides up or down
or sideways...
It seems like my computer is sending the info to my monitor too large or
something?
I tried messing with my system display settings, the resolution, the dpi etc
but nothing seems to work...
Any help would be much appreciated!!
Thanks!

What size monitor?

What is the maximum resolution that you can set?

If 800 X 600 or lower, try reinstalling the video driver for the
adapter. The most recent version should be available at the video card
or chip manufacturer's WEBsite.

Another thought:

If moving the mouse to the side of the screen causes the screen to move
over, that's called "panning". Make sure the settings on both slides
are set to the same resolution.
