Hello,
I recently bought a new computer,it ran good until i
install a device driver update for my video card ,and then
it just kept on rebooting, so i use the recovery disk that
came with my computer and reformatted my hard disk and
freshly install win xp home edition. Then i went to window
update, lots of those hotfix failed,so i try to remove them
from the "add remove program",it told me that it will
affect programs such as coreldraw and winamp and other...
And eversince i reinstall xp home edition ,the disk clean-
up stop responding...Sometime i miss my win 98, this
version of xp home edition is very unstable and glitchy,i
had nothing but trouble with it the last few days, please
help!!!!

Sorry to hear of your troubles but maybe you would like
to try a Repair Install. A Repair Install will replace
the system files with the files on the XP CD used for the
Repair Install. It will leave your applications and
settings intact, but Windows updates will need to be
reapplied, which you need, plus Windows should install
all Drivers.
