My D: drive wont show up in "my computer"

My D: drive which is my cd rom drive wont show up in "m
computer." The device manager says its working properly but i
wont even run any programs or audio cds. What can I do

Remove it from your device manager and reboot.
Additionally try a different cable, make sure the cable connection to the mb
is still tight and make sure that there is power going to it.
