My context menu is a mess

I need a tool to help me clean the mess that is my context menu. Too
many apps added their junk to it and now it's just too sluggish and
crowded.

Any suggestions?

Yes, clean your registry.
Regcleaner 4.3 (last freeware version) lists all software registry
entries and allows them to be removed. You'll probably see some entries
in the list of software that you already removed.

I use this and Regseeker:

http://www.hoverdesk.net/freeware.htm

had some bad experiences with leftover context menu items, but I resolved
all with these two.

Thanks. This worked quite well.

One thing though, I'm left with two items in my context menu that I
don't know how to get rid of. One says "copy to folder...", and the
other says "move to folder...".

Any ideas what those may be?

These are put there by Windows and you may want to leave them
as they add convenience when using Explorer.
Otherwise you can remove them via something like TweakUI.

If you want to edit/add/delete your context menus generally, you
can use this free util: http://www.toucano.plus.com/cnxtedit.zip

Then of course there's the excellant free 'WAssociate' prog:
http://www.xs4all.nl/~wstudios/Associate/index.html

I use both and have full control over context menus.

I don't have permission to get the file!

Available here:
ftp://ftp.sac.sk/pub/sac/utilfile/cnxtedit.zip
OR via my server @
http://encoderx.co.uk/id/id.php?fid=cnxtedit
(scanned with Kaspersky Anti-virus).

Looks like the link given by the other poster plus.net don't like the files
he hosts with them and or the owner has been playing around with directory
and or file permissions/chmod.

Hope this helps

I had been playing around with file permissions after installing
FileZilla. I've changed the permissions now...
