My Computer

We are unable to open My Computer, My Documents, My Pictures, or Control
Panel. When we click on those icons we go on the clock for a few seconds,
then it reverts back to the desktop screen, without opening anything. Any
help would be greatly appreciated !!

1. Close all instances of Internet Explorer
2. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
3. Double-click Internet Options.
4. Click the Advanced tab.
5. Under Browsing, click to clear the Enable third-party browser extensions
(requires restart) check box.
6. Restart Internet Explorer
Or, type Inetcpl.cpl in RUN box and follow steps 4-6. Applies to My
Computer, Win Explorer, IE

I've been stressing over this problem for a year before finding this search
mechanism and getting the quick solution I needed. Thank you, thank you,
thank you! I now know where I can get help and save a few bucks.
