My computer wont stay asleep

If I push the power button on the start menu, my computer goes to sleep,
monitor goes off and hdrive stops spinning, and without touching a
thing.....my computer comes back on repeatedly every few minutes. I have
tried changing all the power settings, I don't understand why it wont stay
asleep. Any suggestions. Vista

Look in BIOS for WakeOn Settings... such as Wake On Lan.....

Also check MSCONFIG and Task Manager for something starting up that can
cause this.

Look on the Power Saving tabs of your keyboard and mouse in Device Manager,
change to: Do not allow this device to wake...

My computer started doing the same thing a couple of days ago.......it slept
fine up to that point......now I put it to sleep and it wakes up before I
do........something has changed.........would any updates have changed this?
I too have tried changing power settings........just seems odd.....it was
working fine..........

Install or reinstall the Vista hotfix for sleep/ mouse: KB 928135. Worked
for me.
