My computer won't come out of Sleep Mode

My computer will not wake up. When I start the computer, the computer boots
and I can hear the MSN sounds indicating startup but the monitor remails
black. It seemed like a gradually increasing problem. It would take two
minutes to wake up, then 5 minutes to wake up and now I cannot get it to wake
up.

I have occasionally gotten it started and when I do, I typically I keep it
on 24/7. The other day, I simply turned my monitor off but left the computer
running but when I turned the monitor on, it remains black.

Any thoughts?
