"My Computer" Veiw

I just installed XP on a new hard drive and before I
installed all of my software applications "My Computer"
categorized all of my drives and hardware into groups,
ie. Hard Drives C and D, CD-ROM Drives E and F, Scanners
and Cameras, and Other. After installing my other
software packages, I don't know after wich one, "My
Computer" did not categorize these items any more. Can I
do something to get these categories back.

Open my computer, right click in any empty space in the right pane, choose:
arrange icons by, show in groups.

My Computer, View Menu, Arrange Icons and in the fly out click to check
'Show in Groups'
