My computer start it self

I have XP pro i just connected Broadband than my computer
start ot self without my knowlege i need urgent help pls.

Hi Abdul.

you probably have a bios that will switch the computer on when it gets a
network signal. you can turn off this setting in the bios you need to look
for a setting called wake on LAN.

Hi Adbul,

Disable everything that reads 'Wake up' in the BIOS settings. Also, I have
seen this behavior if you have a CD/DVD in the drive during a shutdown.
