My Computer "Not Responding"

I have My Folder options set to open in separate folders. When I open My
Computer and another folder within and then try to close out the folders the
My Computer Freezes and when I Ctl/Alt/Del it tells me My Computer "Is Not
Responding". I have to press Close to get back to my desk top.

What have I done?
 
Why don't you just don't set the folders to open
separately (but rather to open continuously on one
folder)? you can always press the back button or bress
backspace to go back. Just a recommendation.. its better
than having your computer NOT RESPONDING..
