my computer keeps rebooting

I have windows 2k pro single PC
Dont have the sasser worm, did a scan
antivirus scan and every other scan
it's not RPC, however out of no where my computer would reboot and i don't
know why, no error message nothing, just the boot screen

any ideas?

Yes, you have a naughty device driver or piece of hardware. The reason your
PC is rebooting is because it is probably set to do so when you encounter a
BSOD (Check Control Panel-->System-->Advanced-->Startup and Recovery
Settings - I'm on an XP system, so the steps might not be exactly as I've
spelled them out).

Your best bet is to first upgrade your drivers to the latest revision, and
if that doesn't work, to remove peripherals one at a time (including sticks
of memory) until you figure out what hardware/driver is at fault (of course
you'll want to do this when the PC is -=OFF=-...).
