My Computer desktop icon opens to taskbar ONLY

I've had a My Computer shortcut icon on my desktop forever. All of a
sudden, clicking on it opens My Computer minimized in the taskbar. I
cannot do anything then but close it...cannot restore or maximize it.

If I log on as Administrator, it works fine.

This is probably a Registry issue, but I don't know where to look. Any
ideas?

Have you tried System Restore?

If it's only a shortcut, you can alter the Window size in the Shortcut
(.lnk) properties. Set to "Normal Window".

Can you get to My Computer via other ways? Start > My Computer? Is it
mimimized when you get there that way?
