I am stupid, but i bought a new copy of windows xp professional, and
before installing it, lost the Certificate of Authenticity. Is there
any way that I can still install the software without buying more? (i
am updating a old win98se computer).

Thanks

No. If you lost a $100 bill, would a bank replace it?
Sorry to hear of your misfortune!

Since you mention a COA then I assume this is an OEM product.
In which case you need to approach the OEM supplier for any replacement
parts (entirely at their discretion).
