My Calendar Keeps Eliminating Appointments on its own

i have several standing meetings placed on my calendar and most of them keep
getting eliminated by the outlook calendar.

Has anyone experienced this problem and found a solution other than
constantly re-entering the appointments?

Do you have autoarchive enabled? What version of Outlook? Are you synching
with a handheld device?
