Windows XP Home SP2
IE7 Version 7.0.5730.11

Occasionally I open IE7 and it opens this page:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/ie/getitnow.mspx
If I click Home, all returns back to normal. Does this happen to everyone?
Thanks,
Rusty

Hi Rusty,
Try to access ms site for updates and see if the IE listed as an update and
check never show this update again, if it there.
If not have a look into these links and do the Registry editing per
instructions:

Under Tools| Internet Options| Advanced
uncheck "automatically check for Internet Explorer updates",
I think it checks once a month if checked.
