My Boss wants me to have access to his emails - How to?

I have just started as an admin and my boss wants me to have access to his
emails for purposes of filtering and setting appts. how do I attain access to
his mails and how will they appear on my outlook page? Thanks in advance for

The common solution is for both of you to connect Outlook to the same
Exchange server.
