my audio files play faster than normal.

i wave win2000 prof. and my audio is playing faster than the normal velocity
of the song.... how can i correct this ??

it´s a codec problem? it´s a win bug ??

To resolve this issue, I would suggest you to do the following:

1. Restart the computer.
2. Uninstall the Audio Drivers.
3. After resintalling the audio drivers and without restarting the
computer, please install the chipset drivers.
4. Restart the computer and reinstall the audio drivers.

This should resolve the issue. However, if the issue is not resolved,
please contact the hardware manufacturer for an updated chipset drivers and
audio drivers. Also, please install the latest version of DirectX.
