Now there you go, resort to insults.

Well, since you are so adequate at selective reading, you tree stump, how's
this for an insult you said nothing about... "...responding to the maniac
Kurt,". Oh, but that's okay, since your superior morals dictates it's okay,
right? Not only are you actually more stupid than a tree stump, you're also an
epitome of hypocrasy.
All you know how to do. Your posting id
may change, but you are one and the same. Very obvious.

Wow, what detective work!
Cotton will comfort your sorry self.
You have no more brains that an 8 year old at best.
Now be a good little boy, take your medicine, and try not to wet the bed.

There you go, once more allowing your past problems to creep into your present
reality.
Wow, resorting to cotton's and joh n's level is kinda fun.
Enough of that though, these forums don't need to be wasted with crap like
this.

Then don't.
Cotton, Joh n , keep each other warm K?
Nighty night.

Is that how we should speak to you...like to a toddler? Is that how they speak
to you at the looney bin? Does it make you feel safer? I can try to write
things out to you that way if it'll make you feel safer and less paranoid if
you want.

To my knowledge MVP's aren't "sponsored" as such. There are many ways
that those who provide peer-to-peer support can come to the attention
of those at Microsoft who choose candidates to be awarded.

"How does Microsoft award the MVPs?"
"An internal committee of professionals from various groups at Microsoft
selects the annual MVP Award winner from a group of nominees."

Nominated then, instead of sponsered. I would suspect that the
"internal committee" does take more seriously those that are "nominated"
by those who are already MVPs.

I am not trying to make any kind of accusation here, just voicing what I
suspect, and seem to remember another MVP say in the past.

Have Fun, Cindy.

Would you please keep the displays of affection for each other to

Not everyone wants to see that displayed in public.
Do y'all go to the same grade school by chance?

I don't know if I should be elated at seeing your stupidity and holy
inquisition carried so far or just sick. Maybe I'm sick because I haven't
laughed this much in a while at a real live village idiot.

No, It's absolutely not a payment. When you buy your mother a birthday gift
are you paying her?

Do you tell M$ that it's your birthday every time they give you free software
that comes with restrictions?

One way that MVPs can be designated is by being "sponsored" by
another MVP. In the case of the brilliant Carey Frisch, he was
sponsored, but the mystery sponsor is obviously not very proud
of his work for he refuses to step forward.

Then please learn how to adjust your browser settings.
Thank you for your concern. Browser settings? How odd. If I read
newsgroups in a browser I suppose it might help.

Sure you do. You read NGs in a NG browser like I do.

Hi Jon,

I'm not sure what you mean by restrictions. If you mean the usual
restrictions put on MSDN subscription software by the MSDN license, then
yes, there are those restrictions. If you mean, perhaps, that Microsoft
restricts us in some way in our behavior the year after we are awarded, then
at http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=fh;EN-US;mvpfaqs it
says,

"What does Microsoft expect of its MVPs?
Because the MVP Award is an award-based program whose criteria are based on
past contributions, Microsoft has no expectations of MVPs beyond the
expectations of courtesy, professionalism, and adherence to the community
rules that we ask of all Microsoft community members."

Well, I depend on having Visual Studio 6 and Visual Studio .NET installed to
answer questions about accessing FoxPro data from VB6 and VB.NET for
example. I also depend on having MS Office installed so I can answer
questions about Office automation. I depend on having SQL Server installed
to be able to test questions about SQL Pass-through syntax against that
database. By having these tools available to answer questions I can offer
better support to the user community.

Greetings --

Don't forget the NDA. I think most people would view that as a
restriction, even if it is freely entered into. ;-}

An NG browser? Didn't know that's what Outlook Express was called now.
Guess you're way more advanced than I. But you seem to be using something
called Mozilla. Must be an NG browser, whatever that is.

No need. Microsoft intentionally keeps the monetary value of the
MVP award gifts below the dollar amount required to be reported to the
IRS.

Your header information is incorrect. You are using an inferior
application to view headers which is reporting false data to you.

So I won the bet. MS pays you in free software so you can support their
applications
for free.

Really? Much the same as the way you and your buddies Kurt and John use
inferior thinking processes which lead you to false conclusions as to what
this newsgroup is about. Oh well, as long as you're having fun.

What is that, eleven-thousand dollars now?
