To go a little further with what Mattias said, MVP is an award, not a
certification, so there isn't a "process" you can go through to receive the
award. The award is for peer-to-peer support and contributions to the
community. New MVPs are usually nominated by other MVPs and sometimes by
Microsoft staff.
