I'm getting a stop code 0x4000008A A kernel thread
terminated while holding a mutex"

This is very repeatable. If I login to a network via a
dial connection everything works fine. If I then simply
disconnect, I get this error. The error displays for a
few seconds then the laptop reboots.

Any thoughts?

DO you know what program is causing this? I'll bet it's some kind of old
DOS program or else a real-mode driver.
