Mute Button Stuck On HELP

I downloaded a windows update and now the mute button turns itself on after
windows comes on and I can't turn it off. Can someone PLEASE help me. I use
my computer for Media

How do you do that?

Do a System Restore to a point before you downloaded the update.

Click the Start orb, then All Programs, then Accessories, then System Tools,
then System Restore. See if the offered restore point goes far enough back
to fix the problem, if not select the option to pick another. Follow along.
