Must launch MSI from setup

[MSI Launch Error]

about three days agon i was uninstalling a program and my
comuter shutdown halfway through. After rebooting I
received a error from rhe program saying it was missing
one of its components. I went to uninstall it again but
now anytime I try to reinstall it or uninstall it I
receive an error that says "Must launch msi through
setup". Does anyone know what is wrong with this or how
to fix it. Thanx

Hi,

Can you do a System Restore to a date before this happened? It may help,
then you can retry the uninstall routine. You might also try deleting the
contents of your local temp folder before retrying the installer. Get both:

C:\Windows\temp
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\local settings\temp
