music volume

Is there a way to turn off Windows system sounds (personal
sound scheme) while listening to mp3's? If I adjust the
Wave volume, it also affects the music volume. I've played
with all the combinations and don't know if there is
anything else I can do.

Control Panel | Sounds & Audio Devices | Sounds tab,
hit the drop-down arrow under Sound Scheme and designate
No Sounds . . . hope this helps.
