Music plays but slide doesn't advance

I inserted a music file into my presentation. It's stuck
on one slide. The presentation won't advance to the next
slide unless I delete the music link. I have transition
set to be after 9 seconds on each slide in the sequence,
and the music to play until slide 19, but slide 1 stays on
the screen way past 9 seconds. I made sure the checkbox
for transition on click was unchecked too. Any ideas?
