Music Playback probs

Hello

I have a problem. when I play music in wav format,(Yes,
I know they are big :) Windows Media player 9 on the start
of each song it skips a few secs into the song, and I cant
find any remedies to solve this prob. Any ideas?

Turn down your sound card hardware acceleration to basic
acceleration in the advanced properties box of sound &
audio in the control panel.
