Music in PowerPoint Presentation

I would like to have music be embedded and play throughout a Power Point
2000 presentation. So far, I've created a wav file of the song I want to
use, but I can't seem to figure out how to play it continuously rather than
per slide (where it starts over at each change).

Hi you said you made a wav file for your sound. Can you tell me how you can
do that. I want to put a song from my itunes library as the background for a
power point.
