Music folder type/template in root of partition

I have a bizzare problem where xp seems to want the root of my storage
drive D:/ to be of the music style template. Though I do have my MY MUSIC
folder in this drive, the root of D has been detected as a Music Type
folder. However, xp does not allow the changing of the folder type in the
root of a filesystem. Does anyone know a way of changing this to a normal
type folder (it is not possible to right click the drive and go to the
folder type tab since it does not exist)?

Try resetting the folder settings:

Click Start, Run and type C:\
Click Tools, Folder Options
In the View tab, click "Reset all folders"
Click OK.
Close the folder
