Music CD's not reading

Windows Media player does not respond to my music CDs. The status remains the
same....that there is no disc in the drive..when there is. I want to play and
burn music CDs...can anyone please help me...thanks!

Hi Jamima,

Put the CD in and let it do whatever it does if it comes up open with what
select Windows Media Player and then always open with this each time box at
the bottom and OK... If nothings comes up go to

My Computer> Cd Drive> Autoplay/OpenWith > And take it from there and
hopefully this should tell the computer how to react to a music CD.
