multiselected drop down

I have several drop downs with multi-selections however I still have a couple
of drop downs I want to change to multiselect, but it's telling me can't
build a relationship, why was this working before but isn't working now?

I know this will happen once you create a multi select drop down. In fact you
will get a warning from Access when you try to change that and that this
process is irreversable. The problem with the multi select combo's is that
there are relationships buid in the background which aren't accessible for
the users. At that point the problem arises. Best thing to do in that case is
to drop the field and create a new field (if dropping is allowed)
