We are trying to upgrade a server running Windows 200
Adv. Server with memory and dual 600MHz CPU's.

With a single 600 in and the new memory machine runs
fine. After installing the 2nd CPU and voltage regulator,
the OS gets almost to the login screen and Blue Screens.

We put the memory and CPU's in a machine running NT and
it ran like a champ, so we feel the hardware is good. Any
thing we may have missed in the upgrade of Windows 2000
Adv. Server??

Regards
Harold

well you may want to upgrade to the multi proccessor kernel..
you can do that by from device manager.. but i dont think thats your problem
as
it should come up fine .. it just wouldn't be able to use the second cpu
