multiple windows

When a restricted user browses a drive and then opens
several subfolders XP creates a new window for each
level...My Computer, a new window for the Drive, a new
window for each subfolder opened. And the user has to
close 5 or 6 windows to get back to the desktop. When the
administrator logs in each time I browse down a level it
opens the new contents within the same window (it keeps
replacing the contents) So I only have one window to
close to get to the desktop. What is controlling this
behavior? I would like everyone to act like the
administrator in this instance. Is this within GP?

I use 2000 server (sp4) and XP Professional (sp1).

thank you

This behavior is a per-user setting found in the folder options.
View tab, Launch folder windows in a separate process

Not sure if there is a policy for this, but if not you could always
add it with a custom adm file.
