Multiple windows won't open

For the past few weeks, my IE 6.0 won't open more than
one window at a time. If I try to open another browser,
it just overlays the one already open. This is very
frustrating as you can image. Anyone know what oculd be
causing this?

Go to Tools | Internet Options | Advanced.
Uncheck "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts".

I am having the same problem. I can not open more than one window at any time, as I try to open a new window my system closes the existing open window first and then opens another one. I tried to reset to defaults and it did not help. I also unchecked the "reuse windows for launching shortcut" in the advanced search tab in the internet option and did not work.


Does anyone knows how to solve this problem?

If you have a Yahoo Companion Toolbar (or any other third-party service)
try removing it.
