Multiple video capture cards - is this possible?!

Hi all,

I am trying to run a Windows XP-based system with 2 BT878A-based video
capture cards (I'm actually using Hauppauge WinTV Express PCI cards,
but am not using the tuner). The Hauppauge drivers don't seem to want
to acknowledge that there are 2 cards installed, so I tried the WDM
drivers (written by Eduardo José Tagle) which unfortunately do a
hard-reset on my machine when I try to install them!

Has anyone else managed to get multiple capture cards running on one
PC, and if so, how?!

Thanks!
Angus

(In case it's important, the system is actually an ETX form-factor
embedded PC from Kontron, with a 1.6GHz Pentium M)

What are you trying to do?
There are cards that have multiple inputs.

Hi,

I am simply trying to display 2 seperate video streams at the same time
on a single monitor (along with other information). I have had a quick
Google but can't seem to find any cards which will do this; did you
have any in mind?

Thanks!
Angus

Google for video surveillance capture cards and
software.

Luck;
