multiple users

Hi,

I have a db appl. (.mdb) that I have created for a client.
I'm currently using Access 2000. The appl. works great as
long as there is only one person using it at a time. But,
I need to allow multiple people to use it, and that's not
happening. This client has several other .mdb's that work
fine with multiple people and I can't find any differences
in them that would cause this new one not to let multiple
people in.

Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
April

April,
You should be able to open the Access Database and from
the menu do the following:
1. Select Tools
2. From the dropdown menu, select options.
3. In the Options dialog box, ensure the default open
mode is shared.

Chris,

This is already set that way... I've checked all the
options I can think of under Options, Security, etc. and
nothing seems to reflect why they can't share the appl.

Any other suggestions.

Thanks,
April
