Multiple users logged on

When we have two users logged in at the same time our
scanner comes to life and just starts operating for no
reason. When we switch over to the other user, it
has "scan in progress" windows open. Can we fix this?
 
It sounds like the driver doesn't play nicely with Fast User Switching; you
should check with the scanner manufacturer for more assistance.
