Multiple Sessions of Power Point

Can I have two separate session of Power Point open so they are completely
independent of each other? We have a dual monitor set up at work and I need
one PPT document on one monitor and a different one on the other montior.
How can I do this?

I currently do it in Excel by opening an excel file, then I open Excel, and
open the file I want within that new window - works great.

Thanks

you can get two windows easily. Stretch the main window across both monitors
and choose Windows > Arrange All with two presentations open.

To get two completely separate instances you have to trick PowerPoint
otherwise it is strictly a single instance programme (2010 seems to fix this)
