Multiple Screen Sessions in PowerPoint

I have dual monitors and since upgrading to PowerPoint 2003 I can no longer
open two separate sessions. Both Word and Excel work fine. I can open one
file, then click to launch Word again and open a second file and move the two
windows of Word independently of each other. When I clid on PowerPoint is
creates another task bar button, but it will not allow me to create a
separate window. Both files are open but there is only one window. I
realize I can do MDI to have both show in one pane, but my desire to have
PowerPoint operate like Word and Excel. Is there a patch to fix this bug?

No, there isn't. It's not a bug. It's how PPT works. (Although many of us
would prefer it to work as Word and Excel do, yes.)
